How to Create a Polygonal Logo with illustrator

Today we are going to create something interesting polygonal logo-

Step 1: Draw a polygonal on the art board with polygonal lasso tool

Step 2: Select the polygonal and rotate it on 30 degree

Step 3: Now place second polygonal between the previous polygonal by minimize the corner to make it triangle 

Step 4: Paste color on the first and second shape on the art board

Step 5: Again draw a triangle by minimize of a polygonal

Step 6: Transform the corners and reflect the triangle shape

Step 7: Now we can see the reflected triangle over the second triangle midpoint

Step 8: Place it around the correct position exact middle point over the second triangle

Step 9: With pen tool draw a line around the three corners of the total shapes on the top three angle corners

Step 10: Select build selection tool and choose color to the every single polygonal and triangle shape we draw already on the art board by clicking

Step 11: We can now separate every shape of the draw polygonal shape

Step 12: Now select every single shape and paste color you already want to put it

Step 13: Now we will gonna make drop shadow for the polygonal shape ; for that we need it draw a ellipse on just behind the shape we drawn

Step 14: Select the shape and apply it gradient color by bringing box where we need to add black and white gradient and select “radial “style for the ellipse

Step 15: Again select the ellipse and go to effect blur > Gaussian blur > 31.7 pixels to make it natural

Step 16: Select the shadow and choose blending mode to multiply

Step 17: Lower the opacity of the shadow to give it the original and natural outlook

Here we start our typographic logo creating process-

Step 1: Select rectangular and draw a tall shape of first piece icon

Step 2: press (Ctrl+c) to copy and edit > paste in front to copy the shape just exactly in front of the shape

Step 3: Grab the direct selection tool and click and drag the cover edge of duplicated shape, holding shift for perfect horizontal shape

Step 4: Move to selection tool and select the hole shape

Step 5: Go to object > transform > reflect > copy > ok

Step 6: Place the copy shape by reflected and ( ctrl+y) to see the outline

Step 7: Paste color on it on your choose 

Step 8: Select pen tool and draw a shape little way down of the first shape to make a shadow

Step 9: change the opacity of the shadow shape

Step 10: Select shadow shape and reflect for duplicate shape

Step 11: Move the shape to right last shape of icon

Step 12: Again draw a shape with pen tool middle of the icons on the down angle

Step 13: Select both the shape and go to gradient to make it black color

Step 14: Select first shadow shape and rectangular and click minus front and move the shape to see how design of shape

Step 15: Shape and rectangular select and click minus front for another position of design

Step 16: Remove another shadow portion of middle of the shapes

Cutting and dividing objects 

We can cut and divide objects with three particular simple methods-

1. Divide object below

2. Compound path

3.Divide with pathfinder

Divide Objects Below

Make sure you have selected all the objects you want to work with. If more than one object is selected divide object below won’t work. Simply generate the object that will do the separating and position it over the other fill object to be divided. Then choose Object>Path>Divide Objects Below.

Object > Path > Divide Object Below lets you take an object and divide it into all the objects below it. You only have to select the top most objects, and it cuts all the way

Compound path

Cut a hole in an object with a compound path
Select or draw a shape to use as a hole, and place it so that it overlaps the object to cut. Do again for any additional objects you want to use as holes.

Choose all the substance you want to include in the compound path.
For applying compound path you need to Go & Choose Object > Compound Path > Make.

Divide (pathfinder)

Separate a piece of artwork into its component-filled. But when you use the Divide button in the Pathfinder panel, you can use the Direct Selection or Group Selection tool to manipulate the resulting faces alone of each other. You can also choose to delete or conserve unfilled objects when apply the Divide command with pathfinder.
