How to Create Light Text Effect with Adobe Photoshop


Light Text Effect



Light effect is something styling your text very differently in a modernizer way. To apply the effect we need to follow some smart Photoshop tools and bunch of methods to create a nice light effect texting style.






Here we going to start our tutorial for the light effect - 


Step 1:  Open background Image and duplicate the image on background copy





Step 2:  Paste the text with type tool Kenyan coffee font and place it on the correct place





Step 3: Right click on the text layer and rasterizing layer by clicking right





Step 4: Copy the text layer gain





Step 5: select text layer and click on the text and right for the flip vertical





Step 6: Move the flip version on the down inside as a shadow





Step 7: Right click on the text and perspective to change its size by transform its one corner





Step 8:  Again right click on the text and select free transform and make it short > hide the text layer







Step 9:  select background and hide text layer and go to adjustment layer > hue/saturation to minimize saturation level









Step 10: Again go to adjustment level and select exposure to decrease exposure level to make the light lower and dark







Step 11: Unhide the background copy layer and go to layer > create clipping mask









Step 12: Select text copy layer go to blending option active stroke > make stroke color white, position > outsides







Step 13: Go to outer glow > make glow color> white





Step 14: blending mode > overlay, increase > opacity level > size also





Step 15: Go to inner glow > blending mode > overlay, color white, increase opacity and size full







Step 16: Unhide text layer, change > normal mode > overlay

Step 17: Go to filter > blur > Gaussian blur







Step 18: copy text layer again, select add layer mask & change foreground color to black





Step 19: Click gradient from toolbar, select gradient bar from the top menu > change gradient type




Soon after click on text and drag the cursor with gradient to make it as shadow


Step 20 :  Now see the final output & save the jpeg of it
