How to Apply Movie Effect on a Portrait with Photoshop

When a normal portrait sometimes lose viewers attention , portrait with a movie effect can charm any people.A great photo editing software Photoshop can do this effect easily on portrait with some of Photoshop tools. 

Today here we are going to share this type of tutorial to apply movie effect on a plain portrait

The tutorial is starting from the below- 


Step 1: open portrait and copy it to background copy layer




Step 2: Open image and go to adjustment layer choose vibrancy -30 and saturation 0





Step 3: Go to adjustment layer again select gradient filter


Step 4: Sudden appear a gradient fill box where make sure to select reverse icon, style= radial, choose any gradient type, angle based on your need , scale up to 150%




Step 5: After that select gradient fill 1 and choose brush to masking the color as before turns on the object






Step 6: Again go to adjustment layer choose selective color



Step 7: Selection color = neutrals, cyan -15 , yellow  -10


Step 8: Go to adjustment layer, select Exposure to adjust the exposure level



Step 9: change color as offset = +0.0179, Gamma correction = 0.79



Step 10: Brightness contrast need to adjust on the last segment if still you are not satisfied with the finishing

Step 11: Adjustment layer > brightness contrast > brightness= 0 >contrast= 20 for the better coloring effect




Step 12: Save image on JPEG format
