How to create transparent text with Photoshop


Text with Transparent Background


If you need to add text on your site but there is no good place to put it, then transparent background can help you to put that text over the image and no obstacle can happened.


In today’s tutorial, we will discuss how easily can text be a transparent with adobe Photoshop We surround the text with a block of solid color, usually white, to reveal the shapes of the letters.






Making transparent text is very easy. We have to start by adding a new layer above the photo and filling it with white. Then we need to use Photoshop blending options to make it transparent.

So now we are going to describe the whole process to create a transparent text


Step 1: Open image on the Photoshop




Step 2: Now we can see image on background layer. Add a new blank layer above on the background layer




Step 3: Add new layer with white fill by choose; edit > fill




Step 4: Decrease the opacity level on to 75 %




Step 5: Now see the image have to whiten because of the white fill




Step 6: Select type tool and choose the font




Step 7: Select size and color as well




Step 8: Resize text will free transform; Go > edit > free transform



Step 9: Now click on the (fx) option with layer styling from the layer panel




Step 10: Choose blend option; set knock out > shallow




Step 11: Decrease the opacity level to 0 %




Step 12: Select “layer 1 “to resize the finishing by path




Step 13: Go to edit > free transform




Step 14: Increase opacity value 85 %
